The Work Speaks for Itself—And So Do the Lives We've Touched. Every project, every workshop, every shared moment of creativity has left a mark—not just on glass, but on hearts. From empowering youth to bringing healing through art, the work of Glass Craft Art Foundation is already changing lives in powerful ways. And this is only the beginning.

GV Injured Artist Fund

For years we hosted the silent auction at the Glass Vegas tradeshow to benefit the GV Injured Artist fund. 100% of the proceeds of the auction went directly to the fund. Artists participated by donating glass art pieces and other items to the auction for people to bid on. Money raised from the event went to injured artist recipients, artists with physical injuries that kept them from working, or indirect injuries that also would keep artists from working, like theft, fire, etc. Past recipients have been the family of an artist that passed away, an artist that had their shop burn down, and one artist who had his wife pass away at childbirth. The injured artist fund solely depended on the artists to donate work to be auctioned off on the Glass Vegas show floor. It had a huge and lasting impact on the glass art community!

GCBE Gallery of Excellence

The annual Gallery of Excellence juried art competition entries in both professional and amateur categories astound the attendees each year with the beauty and skill of the work. Local high schools have participated in the gallery for many years. Scholarships for local high school students and teachers have been made available through the Kay Bain-Weiner Foundation, show management and other contributors.

Green Valley High School Donation

Last year we were able to procure 2 Paragon kilns, a Techniglass Grinder and Oceanside glass for the Green Valley High School Art Department for the students to start learning to create glass art. We look forward to donating more in the future to several schools, to broaden the arts across the nation!

Shadow Ridge High School Donation

The Glass Craft Art Foundation is proud to support the next generation of artists by donating a complete glass-working package to Shadow Ridge High School. This contribution includes a new Hot Shot kiln, high-quality glass from Oceanside, and premium solder from Canfield. By providing these professional-grade materials and equipment, we aim to help students explore their creativity, develop hands-on skills, and expand their opportunities in the glass arts.

Ronald Macdonald House Mosaic

At the 2025 Glass Craft and Bead Expo, we introduced a Community Mosaic Project where each year we will pick a different charity to have a beautiful mosaic installed. This year, on our show floor, attendees helped to create a group mosaic that will be installed into this year’s charity, the Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House. The (RMHC) provides a home-like environment for families of children who are sick or injured and need medical care. The goal of the Ronald McDonald House is to reduce stress and financial burden for families, and to help them participate in their child's care. We are excited to be installing this large group mosaic at the newest Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas, this one-of-a-kind facility is ready to welcome even more families to provide a place of respite, care, and love.
